Guided by the enchanting voice and unleashing energy of the attractive and charismatic riot girl Ciara Thompson, the band remains true to the likes of rhythm'n'blues and soul music, but in the process pushes the Buttshakers typical untamed and wild style on which we love so much. Influences such as Sly and the Family Stone, Charles Bradley, Sharon Jones, Etta James, Marvin Gaye are obvious in their songs and are inspired by the Motown sound of the 60s. Anna Partué is a singer, actress and frontwoman! Together with the Soul Age Band, it combines elements of funk, soul, jazz, swing, blues with today's pop music. In more than 3 years of band history, the musicians can look back on more than 400 concerts, radio interviews, festival gigs and a professional studio recording. Among their other successes are the successful participation in the world-famous competition EMERGENZA, which the "soul agents", as they jokingly call themselves, finished with a good 3rd place in the regional final. In addition, they were able to "funken" in the Köstritzer echo lot among the top 11 out of a total of 400 participating bands and at the Hamburg OXMOX band contest they even made it to the semi-finals.
