LP The Oldians - Som uns Soulful Fucking Lovers

Twelve classics from The Oldians – for the first time in Catalan! The idea came from Osona-born saxophonist Ricard Vinyets, who has been with the band since their 2008 debut album, "Old Secrets." Sir J The Oldian set the project in motion at the beginning of the year: they selected twelve classics from their extensive repertoire, adapted the lyrics, recorded overdubs, produced new mixes, and handed them over to Catalan singer Memi Sillah, who breathed new life into them. "Som uns soulful fucking lovers" is packed with The Oldians' signature rocksteady and reggae – hence the telling album title – and the tracklist presents the best mid-tempo numbers the band has recorded so far on their eight studio albums.
