The eleven tracks on her new album "This Is Gonna Bite You" cover a wide range: everything from fresh Caribbean rhythms to atmospheric ballads to infectious party tunes! The band finds inspiration in the old Jamaican music of the 1960s and early 1970s. The rhythmic main element of the offbeat is joined by the versatile vocal organ of the front singer Katja Reiser, typical wind hooks and backing vocals for the ska, but also shrill organ sounds and melodious guitar playing.
