Dexter Doom and the Loveboat Orchestra is a not entirely scots-packed dance band of nine daring musicians who fear neither death nor devil. It was in the year of the monkey in 2004 when this bunch of eccentric musicians came together to form a solid orchestra to indulge together in the "Scandalous Elevator Music". Stoically grooving and orgasmically soring, the ensemble crosses stylistically off the coasts of ska, reggae, folklore and film music. Here, a hefty load of virtuosity meets unfathomable Dadaist depths. In their merciless overestimation and the pursuit of rum and honor, the eight sailors and the matron stand up for the Kaposvar dance guarantee.
