Frau Doktor are back after a ten-year break, interrupted only by a few shows, and with “Uncle Punk” they have brought with them a new milestone in terms of Ska, Skapunk, Rocksteady and Soul. The lyrics by singer Üni get to the point and take the listener to the big and small worries of everyday life without having to forego numerous sing-along phases. Musically, the focus is always on the wind instruments, who do their job really well and give both their own and the three cover songs that certain something.
