LP Young Israelites - Endlessly

First album by the rocksteady band from Israel. Just like Brooklyn band The Frightners and others before them, the Young Israelites cleverly try to evoke the rocksteady era from the second half of the 1960s. And indeed, they succeed quite well with songs included on this album. The riddims are crisp and convincing, while the very capable lead singer has a unique vocal style that sounds really great. Add to that the wonderful backing singers and every single tune is a delight. Includes the singles "Can't Get Enough" and "Please (Don't Ever Let Me Go)" as well as eight new songs - including the beautiful love song "Prelude", where the three singers are accompanied by an acoustic guitar.
