LP Dandy Livingstone - Rocksteady With Dandy

Orange Vinyl *Music on Vinyl

In 1967, the Jamaican music scene in Great Britain experienced a boom. Its success was primarily due to the involvement of numerous talented British singers, songwriters, and producers, including the young multi-talent Robert Thompson, also known as Dandy. Thompson's popularity within the British Jamaican music scene led to the release of his successful debut album, "Rock Steady With Dandy." This record contains one of the biggest rocksteady hits of all time: "People Do Rock Steady," also known as "Let's Do Rock Steady." The song was first released in October 1967 as the B-side to his single "We Are Still Rude."
