CD Roy & Yvonne - Moving on

After 40 years, the brand new album by the Jamaican duo With Roy Panton and Yvonne Harrison is released here, we're looking at the real beginnings of Jamaican music. In the Ska and Rocksteady era, they recorded numerous songs as duets and solo artists. The first songs Roy recorded were 'Freedom land' and 'Adam & Eve', which he sang in a duo with Stranger Cole and members of the Rovers: everything was produced by Duke Reid.Es was in the fall of 1962, Roy just had no singing partner and happened to meet Yvonne Harrison. The result was one of the most indispensable duet vocal formations on the island. Roy and Yvonne are mibe founders of the Ska and Rocksteady era of the 1960s.
